Step II: The "Basic" Overview May 28, 2013 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. This session will explain the reasons to write a business plan and the Do’s and Don’ts of writing the plan. It will reinforce the importance of accurate financial projections and the market research that is needed to help you understand your industry, target market and competition.
Step III: The "Full" Story June 1, 2013 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. This is a full half-day session where you will actually begin writing your plan. At the end of the class you will leave with the full structure and information for your plan. The instructor will take you step-by-step through the primary components of writing the plan and cover every section that should be included in a successful plan.

· Identify your Target Market as well as your Competition
· Review and complete financial forms: Start-up and Projections
· Outline your Sales & Marketing Plan
· Determine your Operations & Management Plan
The final portion of this session will help you prepare for financing through basic discussions on credit, credit scores, building the right relationships and doing effective presentations to lenders.

We examine the skills and techniques necessary in order to negotiate with contracting officers placing the student on the same level as their opponent. This class is conducted in two phases. Phase one is a general knowledge of known effective negotiation skills and techniques. Phase two examines the procedures for “Discussion” as outlined in FAR paragraph 15.306(d) and (e).

He has extensive experience in government contracting on both sides of the table. This two hour class will provide you with most of the basic information needed to respond to a federal, state or local government solicition. This class is followed a week later by a second class, which teaches a practical excercise in preparing a bid.
Understanding Government Contracting is for anyone wanting to participate in the government contracting process (Commodity, Construction or Services)
This class will discuss rules, regulations and the law as it relates to government contracting (i.e. Federal, State, and Local Governments) as well as explain those things that are important to know before you start the government contracting process.
