The Alliance Lending Corporation, located at the Business Assistance Center, provides (by appointment only) hands-on, personalized, customer oriented financial assistance to small businesses through the following programs:
The William Mann Jr. Community Development Corporation assists economic debt/equity financing, in conjunction with an investor bank and/or a non-traditional lending source for small, minority and women-owned businesses. Emphasis is placed on assisting businesses located in low to moderate income areas of Tarrant County that have been in business for 2 or more years. Their services include:
Banks make money by lending money. Often the inexperience of small business owners results in loan requests being denied. To be successful in obtaining a loan, you must be prepared. You need to know exactly how much you will need, why you need it, and how you plan to pay it back. This should be described in the Executive Summary of your business plan. You must be able to convince your lender that you are a good loan risk.
